Clare County Council has committed to engaging with stakeholders after a leaked report suggested acquiring land for the Cliffs of Moher walking trail via compulsory purchase orders.
The walking trail remains closed following safety audits and tragic incidents and is under review for management and development.
Tobin Consulting Engineers are developing a management plan for the trail on behalf of Clare County Council.
