Tourism Ireland is promoting Ireland at the Amour event, aimed at global luxury travel professionals who focus on romance travel, including destination weddings and honeymoons.

The event takes place in Sardinia this week, connecting around 110 high-end romance travel buyers with luxury hotels and suppliers.

Amour features bespoke one-to-one appointments and networking opportunities for suppliers and influential travel buyers to establish connections.

David Boyce, Head of Business Events and Luxury at Tourism Ireland, discussed the event as a platform to present Ireland’s appeal for romantic celebrations, highlighting boutique hotels and castles.

David Boyce shared Amour is an excellent platform to showcase Ireland as a superb destination for romance travel – including destination weddings, honeymoons and milestone celebrations. The format of bespoke one-to-one appointments and informal experiences provides a valuable opportunity to meet, and connect with, the high-end romance travel buyers and destination wedding planners. Ensuring Ireland is ‘top of mind’ for them when they’re recommending destinations to their clients.”
