ALL of Cork airport’s parking spaces booked for June bank holiday weekend

All parking spaces at Cork airport have sold out during the June Bank Holiday weekend, and passengers are advised to consider alternative transport options such as public transport or taxis.

Cork Airport anticipates over 68,000 passengers to travel during the weekend, reflecting a 20pc increase compared to 2024.

The first direct scheduled service to Turkey by SunExpress from Cork is set to operate weekly between June and September, offering flights to İzmir.

Shannon Airport anticipated 60,000 people will use the airport this June bank holiday, up 9pc on the same period in 2024.

The airport is expecting more than 115,000 passengers every day between Friday and Monday, with a total of 480,000 set to pass through Dublin Airport’s terminals. The busiest day over the weekend will be Friday (May 30) when almost 124,000 passengers are expected to travel through Dublin Airport.
