South Korean low-cost airline  t’way Air will change its name to Trinity Airways in the first half of 2026, as unveiled in the airline’s announcement.

The rebranding reflects a unification concept from the Latin word ‘Trinitas’, symbolising the coming together of diverse hospitality sectors. A new livery design is planned to coincide with the brand change.

Daemyung Sono has gained majority control of t’way Air, increasing its stake in the airline to 64.2pc through acquisitions.

Trinity Airways operates a fleet of 44 aircraft, which includes various models such as A330s and B737s.

In a written statement, the airline shared, “Trinity comes from the Latin word ‘Trinitas’, meaning three come together as one to form completeness.”
