EasyHotel has introduced Apple Wallet key cards at its London City Shoreditch and Paris Aubervilliers properties, allowing guests to unlock rooms with an iPhone or Apple Watch.
Guests can download the digital key card after booking via the easyHotel app or website, with activation upon check-in and deactivation at check-out.
The system supports remote updates for room changes, late check-outs, or stay extensions.
easyHotel invested €3.84m in 2023 to reduce carbon emissions at 12 properties, including London City Shoreditch, and eliminated single-use plastic bottles across its portfolio. Express Mode on iPhones allows key card use without unlocking the device, streamlining the process.
