
The Shannon Airport Group has been shortlisted for the Chambers Ireland 2025 Outstanding Achievement in Sustainable Business Impact Award.
The Group is also nominated for the Chambers Ireland 2025 Environment & Biodiversity Award and the ICCLA Biodiversity Project of the Year Award. The Thady’s Hill Biodiversity Enhancement and Conservation Grazing Project, launched before National Biodiversity Week 2025, is Ireland’s first conservation grazing initiative on airport-owned land.
Sustainability efforts include a carbon reduction strategy, renewable energy infrastructure, and community partnerships for education and inclusive employment. Winners of the Chambers Ireland Awards will be revealed on 24 September 2025 at the Crowne Plaza Hotel, Santry, Dublin, and ICCLA winners on 3 October 2025 at the Royal Marine Hotel, Dún Laoghaire.
