Edelweiss is to add five Airbus A320neo aircraft to its fleet in 2027 and 2028, with three replacing older A320s and two for growth, reaching a total of 18 short-haul aircraft.

The A320neo features advanced Pratt & Whitney engines and sharklets for improved efficiency, longer ranges, and quieter operations. The aircraft enable reliable operations at airports with shorter runways or high temperatures, enhancing flexibility across Edelweiss’ network.

Passengers will benefit from updated cabin furnishings with increased storage space and comfort. The expansion is designed to strengthen Edelweiss’ position at its Zurich hub.
