Bord na Móna Energy Ltd proposed a recreational shared cycle and walkway to connect to the Loch Dhoire Bhile Loop in Ballybeg, Derryvella, and Lanespark, Tipperary.
The planning application was submitted to Tipperary County Council on 28 February 2025. Local residents lodged an objection with An Coimisiún Pleanála, citing concerns about the proposed car park.
Objectors fear the car park could encourage illegal camping and anti-social behaviour, including criminal activity. The project aims to enhance recreational facilities in north Tipperary.
