
Glasgow is among the secondary cities targeted by United Airlines in its summer 2026 transatlantic schedule, with one-way economy fares from €500.
The airline is introducing nonstop flights from Newark to Split, Bari, Glasgow, and Santiago de Compostela. The routes, launching between 30 April and 27 May 2026, utilise Boeing 767-300ER and 737-MAX8 aircraft. Additional services include daily flights from Washington-Dulles to Reykjavik starting 21 May 2026 on Boeing 757-200, and Newark to Seoul from 4 September 2026 on Boeing 787-9.
The airline operates to 46 European cities, offering nearly 3,000 weekly international roundtrips. The expansion targets secondary markets to bypass congested hubs like London Heathrow, with flights to Split and Bari costing from €500 one-way in economy.
