Maldives was named best island and Greece was named best country in the Condé Nast Traveller Readers Choice awards.
In the countries list Greece was followed by Italy, USA, South Africa, France, Spain, Inida, Australia, Thailand, Mexcio,New Zealand, Portugal, Canada, Argentina, Sri Lanka, Morocco, Indonesia, Ireland, Japan and Vietnam.
The awards took place at the Ham Yard Hotel in central London on August 30 and were voted by 128,000 travellers who submitted millions of ratings and tens of thousands of comments. The top 20 overall:
