Hurtigruten assesses coastal voyages that generate €224m annually

Hurtigruten’s Ripple Report shows its coastal voyages generate €224m annually in value creation along Norway’s coast.

In 2024, 200,000 guests produced 684,000 guest nights across 34 ports, supporting 4,010 jobs.

The company partners with 70 local food and drink suppliers, serving over 3m onboard meals.

Hurtigruten’s Open Village initiative contributes €20 per guest to local businesses starting in 2026.

Hedda Felin shared: “For over 130 years, Hurtigruten has been a lifeline along Norway’s coast, connecting people, goods and cultures.”
