
Ten tour operators from Denmark, Finland and Norway visited Mayo and Sligo as guests of Tourism Ireland and Fáilte Ireland.
The itinerary included a walking tour of Westport and the National Museum of Ireland at Turlough Park. The group experienced the National Surf Centre and WB Yeats’ grave at Drumcliffe in Sligo.
Activities featured seaweed foraging with Prannie Rhatigan’s Irish Seaweed Kitchen and a sheepdog demonstration with Atlantic Sheepdogs. It also included an evening of traditional music and dance took place at The Merry Ploughboy in Dublin.
