Dublin City’s Night-Time Economy Strategy has updated the media on its first year in expsitence, having supported or managed around 200 events in 18 months by end of 2025.

New safety measures include the Dublin Nights Help Zone operating weekends until Christmas.  The Dublin by Night Festival on 1 November across Capel Street and Dame Street expects over 50,000 attendees.

Progress made with National Transport Authority on late-night transport options. Strategy focuses on low-cost cultural activities and safer, more inclusive nightlife.

Ray O’Donoghue shared “In just over a year, we’ve shown what’s possible with the right focus on Dublin’s night-time economy—nearly 200 cultural events supported, several safety initiatives delivered, and progress with partners such as the NTA on late-night transport.”

Richard Guiney shared “Dublin’s night-time offering has never been stronger, with the Dublin by Night Festival attracting tens of thousands of people into the city.”
