Banner Plaza at Junction 12 of M18 outside Ennis is to opens tomorrow after a decade-long wait. The €18m development was created by Supermac’s boss Pat McDonagh.
The opening was revealed via social media on Wednesday. A judicial review by Friends of the Irish Environment against an Uisce Éireann connection agreement remains undecided in High Court.
The plaintiffs claim that the state connection violates laws with overloaded wastewater treatment plant and wil have a negative impact on the River Fergus.
