Tourism Ireland brings 35 enterprises to IBTM World in Barcelona

Thirty-five tourism businesses from Ireland attended IBTM World in Barcelona during the week of 19 November 2025. 

The event featured around 1,900 commercial meetings that delivered business events worthms of euro for Ireland in 2026 and beyond.  Tourism Ireland promoted the island as a destination for meetings and incentive travel to international buyers. 

The Business Events sector contributed more than €1bn to the Irish economy each year.  The Business Events 2030 strategy targeted an average annual revenue growth rate of 8pc out to 2030.
