Aena reports strong first-half profits and forecasts 3pc traffic growth

Aena has reported strong first-half profits and is forecasting 3pc air traffic growth in 2026. Spain’s airport operator, achieved a net profit of one thousand and two million euro in the first six months of 2026, up 12.1pc from the previous year. 

Revenues rose 10.1pc to €329.6m euros, supported by robust aeronautical and commercial activities. The group handled 196m passengers globally, with 156.2m in Spain (up t3.7pc). EBITDA grew 6.3pc to €1,798.9m. Despite moderation in growth and geopolitical uncertainties, Aena expects overall Spanish air traffic to increase around 3pc for the full year.
