Airbus has reported consolidated financial results for the half-year ended 30 June 2026, with revenues increasing 12pc year-on-year to €33.2bn and EBIT Adjusted rising 24pc to €2.7bn. The company delivered 351 commercial aircraft in H1, including 44 A220s, 271 A320 Family, 10 A330s and 26 A350s, compared to 306 aircraft in H1 2025. The commercial aircraft activities generated revenues of €23.9bn, up 15pc, mainly reflecting higher deliveries and increased services. Airbus Helicopters delivered 144 units with revenues broadly stable at €3.7bn. Airbus Defence and Space revenues increased 9pc to €6.3bn, driven by higher volumes across all business units. EBIT Adjusted for commercial aircraft increased to €1.99bn, driven by higher deliveries partly offset by a less favourable hedge rate.
The order backlog stood at 9,222 commercial aircraft at the end of June 2026. Airbus Helicopters’ order backlog reached 1,108 units, while Airbus Defence and Space saw order intake value of €9.3bn. Consolidated net income reached €2.24bn with earnings per share of €2.84. Free cash flow before customer financing was €1.17bn, mainly driven by planned inventory build-up to support ramp-up. The gross cash position stood at €23.4bn with a net cash position of €8.4bn.
Guillaume Faury, Airbus CEO, shared, “Our good H1 results mainly reflect the higher level of commercial aircraft deliveries and strong performance in Defence and Space, against the backdrop of a complex and fast-changing environment.”
