Airbus has entered a partnership with Mistral AI to expand the use of artificial intelligence in its aerospace operations. The agreement covers commercial aircraft, helicopters, defence and space activities while meeting strict security and sovereignty standards.

The collaboration includes licences for Mistral AI’s full product suite and access to researchers for bespoke solutions. Potential areas of work cover industrial operations, engineering design, next-generation products and sovereign defence applications.
