American Airlines has announced a major expansion of its premium travel experience at Dallas Fort Worth International Airport, including a new Flagship check-in environment and two major lounge spaces. The upgrades include an exclusive Flagship check-in near the Terminal D30 security checkpoint offering a private check-in environment and direct expedited access to security. The airline is constructing its largest-ever Admirals Club lounge in the redesigned Terminal C, spanning 37,000 square feet.
The Admirals Club will feature organic design elements, chef-inspired dining and upscale beverage offerings like Champagne Bollinger. A new grab-and-go premium space called Provisions by Admirals Club will open in the initial phase of future Terminal F. American Airlines is retrofitting its narrowbody fleets with significantly more premium seats, incorporating advanced cabin styling from the Boeing 787-9 and Airbus A321XLR.
The updated premium seats boast dedicated privacy wings, double beverage cocktail trays, expanded personal storage and USB-C power outlets at every seat. The upgrades transform the customer journey from the ground up at DFW. The new lounges and check-in facilities are scheduled to open later in 2026.
