Avolon fleet now stands at 1,117 aircraft after record Q2

Avolon has issued its business update for the second quarter of 2026. The company executed 46 lease agreements extensions and amendments. Teams acquired 21 aircraft and sold 30 aircraft with a further 109 agreed for sale.

Avolon placed 9 new technology aircraft from commitments and ended the quarter with 80pc of its committed fleet placed through the end of 2028. The owned managed and committed fleet stood at 1,117 aircraft. The firm closed a $0.5 billion unsecured revolving credit facility.

S&P Global Ratings upgraded Avolon to BBB which aligns with Moody’s and Fitch ratings.
