Azamara Cruises and AmaWaterways have partnered to host an exclusive trade event for Irish travel agents onboard the Azamara Quest at Dublin Port. [1, 2]

The landmark collaboration brought together top-tier ocean and river luxury cruise brands to engage directly with Ireland’s vibrant travel trade community.

The event was led by Peter Ryan, Strategic Business Development Manager for Azamara, Stuart Pearce, Director of Sales for Azamara, and Katrina Latimer, Strategic Account Manager for AmaWaterways.

Presentations outlined the fleet’s signature “Destination Immersion” focus, showcasing how their mid-sized ships (700-guest capacity) can dock closer to destinations and offer extended port stays.

Attendees went on a guided tour of the ship’s public areas but could not view the cabins, as the current Dublin sailing was completely sold out.

Guests were treated to a “prinks” drinks reception followed by an upscale, intimate dinner at the ship’s signature Discoveries Restaurant.

The unique joint trade showcase expanded past Dublin to target regional agents. The brands followed up their Dublin Port success the next day, Wednesday, July 16, by hosting another specialized trade evening at Waterford Castle.
