Aer Lingus launches new Cork to Santiago de Compostelo 2w route

Aer Lingus has launched a new direct seasonal service from Cork to Santiago de Compostela in Spain. The inaugural flight took off on Monday, adding to growing connectivity between Ireland and northern Spain.

The twice weekly service, operating every Monday and Thursday, runs for the summer season from June 1, 2026, through October 22, 2026.

Direct flights take approximately 1 hour and 55 minutes and one-way fares start from €59.99, including taxes and charges.

This direct link eliminates the need for long transfers or Dublin layovers, serving as a gateway to the Galicia region, tailored for: Camino Pilgrims, holidaymakers & Foodies interested in exploring the UNESCO-listed Old Town, enjoying Galician seafood, or taking regional trains to nearby coastal cities like A Coruña and Vigo
