Daa has opened applications for the Dublin Airport Community Fund 2026 with €500,000 available. The fund supports projects in wellbeing, sustainability, sport, education and social inclusion near the airport. Community and voluntary groups submitted over 230 projects in the previous two years.

The initiative funded local school programmes including outdoor garden developments and sensory trails. Sports clubs received equipment and support for events such as community games and beach races. Environmental groups completed garden projects and village enhancement works in areas including Ballymun, Santry and Swords.

Heritage and community organisations accessed grants for hall reopenings and building improvements. The online application system operates until Friday, 5 June. Daa also continued its partnership with Dublin City University’s Access Programme.
