A drunk passenger on an Aer Lingus flight from Dublin to Izmir on October 11, 2025, caused a violent air-rage incident leading to diversion to Bulgaria.
The middle-aged man travelled with his wife and children and appeared a little drunk and boisterous upon boarding.
The pilot diverted the plane for safety, landing in Bulgaria where authorities handled the passenger. No injuries occurred among other passengers or crew during the incident.
