EasyJet has announced the launch of a new winter route from Belfast International Airport to Aberdeen International Airport, with flights taking off on 4 January 2027. The route will operate twice weekly on Mondays and Fridays, strengthening easyJet’s Scottish domestic network.
Aberdeen offers a mix of vibrant city life and natural beauty, from museums, art galleries, and nature trails to designer shopping and whiskey tasting experiences.
Kevin Doyle, easyJet Country Manager, stated the route gives customers convenient access to Scotland’s north east, a region famed for its rich maritime history, striking castles and coastal scenery. Dan Owens, Belfast International Airport’s Chief Executive, stated Aberdeen is a fantastic new addition to easyJet’s route offering and will bring further investment and job creation. Belfast International Airport is undergoing a £100m upgrade of its terminal.
EasyJet is the third largest airline in Ireland, serving three airports, all of them in the north and offering over 50 routes across Europe and North Africa.
