Emirates hosts travel trade to Amgen Irish Open at Doonbeg

Emirates, official airline has been hosting hospitality guests in Doonbeg in County Clare for the tournament. Since its launch in Ireland in 2012, Emirates has reinforced its commitment to sport and local communities. Defending champion Rory McIlroy will be joined by Irish players including Shane Lowry and Pádraig Harrington alongside international stars Jon Rahm, Tyrrell Hatton, Rasmus and Nicolai Højgaard and Team Europe Captain Luke Donald.

The Irish Open sponsorship agreement includes course branding, tournament hospitality, advertising and on-site activity including a corporate marquee and team participation in the Tournament Pro-Am. The multinational Emirates Cabin Crew will be flown in from Dubai to welcome spectators to a stand-alone Emirates booth inviting them to take part in a putting competition for an opportunity to win prizes. The Emirates booth sports a design inspired by the airline’s onboard interiors.

Emirates is one of the leading supporters of major golf tournaments across the globe, sponsoring 21 tournaments on the DP World Tour and holding Official Tournament Partner status at 14 events. Emirates is the only airline connecting Ireland directly to Dubai, offering two daily flights and more than 6,500 channels of entertainment, gourmet cuisine and a complimentary chauffeur-drive service for First Class and Business Class passengers.
