The airworthiness directive targets certain 737-8, 737-9, and high-density 737-8200 models, requiring checks on up to 69 seat assemblies per aircraft to ensure proper fitting and prevent risks during turbulence or emergencies.
Boeing supports the measure, with no incidents reported to date. Airlines will need to inspect and correct any issues before continued operations.
