FL Technics has received FAA certification for its new maintenance facility in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic. The company secured JetBlue as its first client at the site located in the Free Trade Zone next to Punta Cana International Airport. The facility spans 20,000 square metres and supports base maintenance for Airbus A320 and Boeing 737 aircraft.
FL Technics received approval from the Dominican Republic’s civil aviation authority IDAC earlier in June 2026. The company developed a local workforce with support from international experts. Plans exist to expand the facility from five to twenty bays.
The site provides MRO services to airlines and leasing companies in the Americas region. Zilvinas Lapinskas shared “This milestone represents FL Technics’ official entry into the US market, which is a major step for our company.”
Mejico Angeles Lithgow shared “Having an international team on the ground lets us transfer proven methods to our new colleagues and quickly reach top-level performance.”
