International tourist arrivals worldwide increased by 5pc in the first nine months of 2025.
The figure exceeded pre-pandemic levels in several regions. Africa and Europe led recovery with strong performances. UN Tourism reported over 1.1bn arrivals globally. Major destinations saw rises in visitor spending.
