At least 15 incoming flights, including three international routes, diverted to Jaipur, Chandigarh and Lucknow, while airlines cancelled 26 services. The extreme weather has forced massive schedule changes across the National Capital Region’s aviation network.

Major Indian carriers issued urgent advisories for passengers to check flight status online before travelling to the airport. IndiGo confirmed schedules were heavily impacted and advised flyers to factor in extra travel time due to waterlogged roads. Air India notified passengers that adverse conditions continue to affect arrivals and departures, while SpiceJet and Akasa Air warned of consequential delays across their networks stemming from the Delhi gridlock. The India Meteorological Department maintains active orange and red alerts across parts of Delhi-NCR, with forecasts indicating continued heavy rain and strong winds.
