The service bypasses England landbridge entirely and operates six departures per week in each direction. The route offers convenient overnight crossings taking approximately 21.5 hours, with Cork departures usually at 21:00 and Boulogne-sur-Mer departures at 22:00 CET.
The fleet comprises two modern RoPax vessels, the St Patrick with 193 cabins and the MV Akka with 227 cabins, both accommodating foot passengers, cars, campervans, motorbikes and commercial freight. Onboard facilities include private en-suite cabins, pet-friendly arrangements, lounges, a children’s play area, and a new seasonal menu designed by Irish chef Rachel Allen. Early booking allows passengers to secure preferred dates for summer holidays or long-distance European road trips.
