Kuwait’s Directorate General of Civil Aviation has confirmed that transit operations at Kuwait International Airport remain suspended until further notice. Restrictions remain in place due to regional security concerns.
The authority issued a clarification following inaccurate reports suggesting that connecting flights were resuming. The DGCA took formal administrative and legal actions against Jazeera Airways. The airline had opened transit bookings and announced a resumption of services through Terminal 5 without obtaining prior regulatory approval.
DGCA spokesman Abdullah Al-Rajhi shared that the suspension has been strictly enforced since the onset of regional conflict. The precautionary measures are in place to ensure safety for passengers aircraft and airport infrastructure. Jazeera Airways postponed its transfer and transit operations and offered affected passengers a complimentary date change or a full refund.
