Over 64,000 people tracked the live flight path of the Irish Air Corps government jet transporting Daniel Kinahan back to Ireland from Dubai on Sunday August 9th.
Flight IRL290 quickly became the number one most tracked flight in the world on aviation tracking platforms such as Flighttradar24.: When the €53m Dassault Falcon 6X jet initially entered United Arab Emirates airspace on its way to pick him up, more than 4,000 people were already actively monitoring its progress. The aircraft departed Dubai’s Al Maktoum International Airport on Sunday morning and landed under heavy armed guard at Casement Aerodrome in Baldonnel, Dublin, at approximately 6:30pm local time.
