Oneworld to address gaps in India and South America

Ole Orvér has assumed the position of chief executive at Oneworld and focuses on seamless travel across the alliance. 

He says he is going to build on priorities of premium service, digital integration, and collaborative scale established by his predecessor. Orvér emphasises quick mileage posting and removal of service exceptions for passengers. 

He previously served as chief commercial officer at Finnair and held roles at Qatar Airways and other carriers.

Philippine Airlines is preparing to join as the 16th member. Orvér intends to address gaps in India and South America. 

Ole Orvér shared: When you earn your miles you want them on your account as soon as you get off the plane.
