Qantas has revealed the next evolution in cabin design for its Airbus A350-1000ULR aircraft on Project Sunrise. The configuration features only 238 seats for the lowest seat density of any A350 worldwide.

Economy Plus offers 42 seats with 34-inch pitch at the front of the cabin along with priority boarding. The design draws on research with the University of Sydney’s Charles Perkins Centre. Non-stop Sydney to London services begin in October 2027.
