Viking named nine new river ships including its 100th ship in a Basel ceremony. Ships include Viking Annar, Dagur, Eldir and Honir for Rhine, Main and Danube.
Viking Nerthus sails Seine, Gyda Douro, Tonle Mekong, Thoth and Amun Nile. Godparents for the ships were Viking executives and partners.
The ceremony also connected virtually to ships in Paris, Rostock, Porto, Mỹ Tho and Luxor.
Torstein Hagen shared “We are proud to name our newest river ships and to honor the nine distinguished members of our extended Viking family serving as their godparents.”
