Ray O’Driscoll confirmed as CEO of Shannon Airport Group

Shannon Airport Group has appointed Ray O’Driscoll as its new chief executive, and he assumes the permanent role after serving in an acting capacity. 

He held the interim position since September last year. He previously acted as deputy CEO and chief operating officer of the group.

Mr O’Driscoll joined the organisation in 2014 as managing director of Shannon Commercial Enterprises, its commercial property arm. He oversaw developments in the property portfolio and contributed to aviation growth at Shannon Airport. The group operates the airport and manages office space, industrial warehouses, aircraft hangars and development land in the region.

Mr O’Driscoll is a chartered accountant who held senior finance positions with Barry Group and Eurologic Systems prior to joining Shannon Airport Group. Turnover at the group rose 7pc last year to €78.4 million. Earnings before interest, tax, depreciation and amortisation increased 6pc to €19.3 million.
