Financial Technology company Revolut has announced plans for premium airport lounges across Europe, marking a significant move into physical travel experiences. The company’s first step in this international roll-out has officially begun with the signing of an inaugural partnership agreement with Copenhagen Airport (CPH), which will establish a premium design blueprint that Revolut will scale across key European markets in 2027 and beyond. The fintech, which now has 75 million customers worldwide, chose CPH as its flagship Revolut Lounge and expects it to be the largest common use lounge in the Schengen area.
The Copenhagen Revolut Lounge will be delivered together with Plaza Premium Group, the world’s largest network of airport lounges, as its operating and investment partner for the launch. This development follows plans for the company’s inaugural Revolut Store in Barcelona and reflects a broader strategy to bring the brand into high-visibility, real-world environments. The operational roll-out of the Copenhagen Airport location is slated for 2027, with the company’s long-term ambition potentially establishing one of the world’s largest premium lounge networks.
