Ryanair has officially launched its largest-ever winter schedule for Morocco, offering 5.3m low-fare seats across 156 routes connecting the country to 14 European countries. Announced on 6 August by CEO Eddie Wilson, the expanded network includes 17 new routes, with new connections from Rabat to Stockholm and Krakow, from Marrakesh to Wroclaw, and from Agadir to Milan, Nuremberg, Bratislava and Gdansk. The expansion is supported by two new aircraft representing a $200m investment and the opening of a new Rabat base, Ryanair’s fifth in Morocco.

The record Winter 2026 schedule delivers an additional 580,000 seats, up 12 pc on the previous winter, with 16 based aircraft representing total inward investment of $1.6bn. The operation supports over 8,500 local jobs, including 480 highly paid pilot and cabin crew positions, while boosting inbound tourism and regional economic growth ahead of the 2030 FIFA World Cup. The schedule operates across 13 Moroccan airports, including regional destinations such as Fez, Tetouan, Essaouira, Ouarzazate, Dakhla and Nador.

Morocco has become one of Ryanair’s fastest growing and most important markets. The new Rabat base adds two based aircraft to the operation, strengthening connectivity for the capital region. Ryanair’s CEO stated that the record schedule will boost year-round connectivity across the Kingdom, drive inbound tourism from across Europe, support regional economic development and help deliver Morocco’s tourism growth strategy ahead of the 2030 FIFA World Cup. Ryanair thanked the Moroccan National Tourist Office, the Moroccan Government and ONDA for their partnership and shared ambition to grow Morocco’s tourism sector.
