Virgin Voyages has unveiled its first-ever Northern Europe season for 2028, featuring six voyages and 15 new ports of call. The itineraries include Norwegian fjords, Baltic capitals, overnight stays in Scandinavia, and a journey beyond the Arctic Circle with a Midnight Sun deck party. Valiant Lady will be homeported in Amsterdam for summer 2028.
The Northern Europe season represents a significant expansion of Virgin Voyages’ global deployment strategy. The cruise line, known for its adults-only, luxury-lifestyle approach, has been gradually expanding its itinerary offerings since its inaugural voyages in 2021. The new routes will offer guests access to less-visited northern destinations, capitalising on growing demand for cooler climate cruise experiences.
Matt Lebbern stated that the six voyages and 15 new ports of call will offer passengers unique experiences including the Midnight Sun and extended stays in Scandinavian capitals. Amsterdam will serve as the homeport for Valiant Lady, providing convenient access for European and international travellers.
Matt Lebbern of Virgin Voyages shared, “The wait is over… we’re heading North! We’ve just unveiled our first ever Northern Europe season for 2028, and we couldn’t be more excited.”
