HF Holidays has appointed Simona Zaliskeviciute as Overseas Product Manager.
Zaliskeviciute brings 20 years of experience in product development from roles at Saga Plc and Solos Holidays. She will report to head of overseas product Sharon Wright.
Responsibilities include crafting walking and adventure holidays across Europe and beyond. The appointment supported expansion of international tour offerings focusing on sustainable travel.
A new range of European holidays will be launched in the 2026 brochure. The hire aligns with demand for active tourism.
HF Holidays is one of the oldest tour operators in existence, having originated from Cumbria-based cleric and social reformer Thomas Arthur Leonard, who started walking holidays for factory workers in 1891, leading to the Holiday Fellowship (HF) in 1913 as an accessible, outdoor experience, later becoming the member-owned co-operative HF Holidays in 1982, focusing on community, nature, and guided walking tours. Leonard also helped to establish the Youth Hostels Association and the Ramblers’ Association.
