Kerry Airport will handle 20,000 passengers on inbound and outbound flights from Friday last to the first weekend of 2026.

This figure represents a 6.3pc increase on the same period last year. Staff handle 146 flights including four additional services to Manchester and London Stansted. The extended Departures Area and new Arrivals Hall improve passenger experience. Authorities advise travellers to arrive early and follow rules for liquids, aerosols, and gels.

Security Manager at Kerry Airport Tom O’Driscoll shared “Christmas is one of the most exciting times of the year at Kerry Airport. We encourage passengers to arrive a little earlier than usual to ensure a smooth and relaxed start to their journey. With thousands of people travelling from all over the world to spend Christmas in Kerry, we are delighted to be preparing to welcome everyone home for the festive season.”
