Vodafone has agreed to refund €894,000 to around 20,000 customers for improper roaming fee notifications.
ComReg investigated breaches of the 2022 Roaming Regulation and found that customers were not given sufficient information on additional unit costs beyond their €50 and €100 limits. Vodafone has updated its notification systems to include per-unit costs which the operator says will enhance transparency for future roaming.
