Norwegian Cruise Line reveals Norwegian Aura details ahead of 2027 debut

Norwegian Cruise Line has revealed more details of the itineraries of its newest Prima Plus-class ship, Norwegian Aura, set to debut in May 2027 with a 3,840-guest capacity. 

Featuring a multi-deck Ocean Heights activity zone with five slides (the most on any NCL vessel), the ship will homeport in Miami for Caribbean itineraries; sales opened mid-January.

Caribbean Itineraries (2027-2028):

  • Eastern Caribbean (June-Oct 2027): Includes ports like Puerto Plata, St. Thomas, Tortola, and NCL’s private island, Great Stirrup Cay.
  • Western Caribbean (Winter 2027/28): Calls at destinations including Harvest Caye and other Caribbean ports. 

Ship Highlights:

  • Ocean Heights: Multi-deck open-air playground with five waterslides (including Eclipse Racers), ropes course, mini-golf, and bar.
  • Pool Deck: 20% larger, with an infinity hot tub.
  • Vibe Beach Club: 15% larger for adults.
  • The Haven: Features 30% more suites and private amenities.
  • Kids’ Zones: Dedicated areas like Adventure Alley, Teen Hangout, and Little Explorer’s Cove.
