The carrier has not selected engines yet, as General Electric and Rolls-Royce negotiate. The current order book includes 84 B787-9s and 56 B787-10s. United operates 12 B787-8s, 48 B787-9s, and 21 B787-10s in its widebody fleet.
Additional orders cover 102 B737-9s, 165 B737-10s, 120 A321-200NX, 50 A321-200NY(XLR)s, and 45 A350-900s. Projections from third quarter 2025 indicate 20 B787 deliveries in 2026.
