Emerald Airlines has secured registration under the IATA Operational Safety Audit programme, with confirmation received on 5 February 2026. This registration confirms the airline’s adherence to global standards in operational safety, management, and performance across areas including flight operations, maintenance, cabin services, ground handling, and security. The achievement marks a key stage in the carrier’s expansion since its establishment in 2021.

The IOSA programme, managed by the International Air Transport Association since 2003, supplies a consistent audit framework that enhances safety and cuts duplicate checks in the industry. Registered airlines show improved safety records through rigorous evaluation of control systems and risk-based oversight tailored to operational profiles. Emerald Airlines operates the Aer Lingus Regional network with routes across Ireland, England, Scotland and France, alongside ACMI and charter services.
