Richard Morsley and Rachel Walter announced as tnew VisitEngland Advisory Board members

England’s secretary of State Lisa Nandy has announced the appointment of Richard Morsley and Rachel Walter to the VisitEngland Advisory board. They replace outgoing members Fiona Pollard CBE and Allan Lambert, whose terms conclude in early March 2026.. 

  • Richard Morsley: Currently the Chief Executive of the Chatham Historic Dockyard Trust. He has over 15 years of experience in the heritage, cultural, and local government sectors and has previously served as Director at Betteshanger Park and Deputy Director at Turner Contemporary.
  • Rachel Walter: Currently leads the Holidays business for the National Trust, managing a portfolio that includes 400 holiday cottages and 18 campsites. She has over 20 years of experience in tourism and destination development, including previous senior roles at The Alnwick Garden and Visit Bath.

The Advisory Board provides strategic advice to the British Tourist Authority (BTA) to support the development of England’s visitor economy.

Board members receive £3,300 per annum.
