LOT Polish Airlines reported a record-breaking 2025 with exceptional operational results and growth across key performance indicators. 

The airline achieved significant milestones in passenger numbers, route expansion, and efficiency. This performance confirms the success of its strategic initiatives.

  • Passenger Records: The airline carried 11.7 million passengers in 2025, a 9.4% increase over 2024. July 2025 was the best single month in the company’s 96-year history, with over 1.18 million travelers.
  • Fleet Modernization: LOT placed record orders for 55 new aircraft, with options for 40 more. This includes the introduction of Boeing 737 MAX 8 aircraft with refreshed interiors and the selection of Airbus A220 jets for the regional fleet.
  • Network Expansion: Launched 9 new routes in 2025, including Lisbon, Reykjavik, Marrakech, and Rovaniemi. An additional 15 routes were announced for 2026, featuring long-haul services to San Francisco and Bangkok.
  • Industry Recognition: Awarded a 4-star rating by Skytrax and named the “Best Airline in Eastern Europe” at the 2025 World Airline Awards.
  • Customer Experience: Renovated business lounges in Warsaw and introduced a new Michelin-star culinary offering for long-haul business class passengers
