Ambassador cruise line features Dubliners play on Irish mini-break

Ambassador Cruise Line confirmed its three-night Irish Mini Break cruise aboard Ambition departing Portsmouth on 22 April 2026 will include the theatrical production Seven Drunken Nights – The Story of The Dubliners. 

The show set in O’Donoghue’s Pub recounts the Irish folk band’s 50-year career through songs storytelling and screen performances by Irish musicians featuring tracks such as Whisky in the Jar and Rocky Road to Dublin. A special Irish-inspired St. Patrick’s Day Dinner offers dishes including seared fillet of wild Irish salmon with dill mousseline sauce vegetable stew with Guinness stout and chocolate cake with Baileys.

The adult-focused sailing calls at Dun Laoghaire for Dublin access allowing exploration of the city’s history pubs and fresh seafood. Saver Fares for full board accommodation start from €290 per person while Ambassador Fares begin at €494 per person based on two sharing an inside cabin. The themed voyage provides an authentic Irish cultural experience at sea.

Ambassador Cruise Line shared in a written statement Ambassador Cruise Line has announced that its Irish Mini Break cruise onboard the Ambition will feature a theatrical production called “Seven Drunken Nights – The Story of The Dubliners.” The production telling the story of Ireland’s band The Dubliners will be available to guests on this three-night themed sailing from Portsmouth to Belfast via Dun Loaghaire (for Dublin) on April 22, 2026.
