AirAsia X has announced Bahrain as its first strategic hub for expansion into Europe, launching a new route from Kuala Lumpur to Bahrain and onward to London.
This move is expected to create direct jobs in aviation and boost opportunities in tourism, logistics, hospitality, and services. The initiative aims to enhance connectivity between Asia and Europe, positioning Bahrain as a key transit point for budget travellers and stimulating economic growth in related sectors.
